Personenkraftwagen, i.e. the Ford V8 G81A passenger car - is a German construction from the 1930s. Before World War II, there was a branch of the American global Ford concern in Germany. Most of them produced extremely valuable trucks, but also on the same basis, i.e. using the same technology, it was possible to produce passenger cars. One such example is the Ford V8. The production of this car lasted from 1938 to 1941, during this time as many as 8,000 copies of this model were produced. With the outbreak of World War II, many V8 G81As were confiscated from private owners and handed over to the military. The car was equipped with an American-made eight-cylinder V8 engine with a power of 60-90 HP, which was staggering power for those times. A characteristic feature of the S model was that the rear wheel was covered with a cover. An interesting fact is that the development of the structure was blocked by the German branch, but in the USA it underwent many improvements and modifications.
