The first one, the destroying air bomb wz.29, weighing 50 kg. was developed in Starachowickie Zakłady Górniczo-Hutnicze in Starachowice, shortly before the outbreak of the Great Depression in 1929. It was characterized by a drop-shaped cross-section with a fin at the end. The explosives used were mainly TNT or picric acid. It was suspended in a horizontal position. It is worth adding that the improved version of this bomb was called wz.32. The second bomb in turn was also a 100-kilogram high-explosive air bomb, also constructed at Starachowice Zakłady Górniczo-Hutnicze in Starachowice by lieutenant colonel-engineer Apolinary Żebrowski - later a veteran of the September 1939 campaign. The wz.31 bomb had a drop-shaped body and was made of steel sheet. The explosive - as in the wz.29 bombs - was TNT or picric acid. It is worth adding that the wz.31 bomb was often painted gray.
