CHINESE HELICOPTER CHANGHE Z-8

Changhe Z-8 is a modern Chinese naval, anti-submarine and multi-tasking helicopter with a main rotor and a classic rotor on the tail boom. the machine entered the line in 1989. In the basic version, the drive is provided by three motors Changzhou WZ-6 with 1,534 HP each. The maximum speed of the helicopter is 315 km / h, and the operating range is up to 700 kilometers. The Changhe Z-8 helicopter was initially developed as a license version of the French Aerospatiale SA.321 Super Frelon helicopter. The first version of this machine (designation: Z-8), which was almost an exact copy of the original, served as sea rescue helicopters and a ZOP (anti-submarine anti-submarine) machine. It was also equipped with sonar and was able to carry torpedoes. However, in 2001, the Z-8A machines began to enter service, and in 2007 - the Z-8K and Z-8KA machines, which were already used by the land forces as transport and search and rescue machines. Ultimately, the Z-8 helicopters remaining in service are to be replaced in the line by Harbin Z-20 machines.
